Still not 100% sure on the SMD and what it stands for. It could be, Severely Multiply Disabled or Severely Mentally Disabled.

- Hi, I am K.C.'s Mommy. K.C. is a 10 year old boy with Classic Autism. We are currently homeschooling our son and he is doing well. We take each day one day at a time. K.C. is non- verbal and does well with PECS. He knows many signs as well. KC didn't develop any words over the years despite our best efforts. Occupational Therapy has helped KC feel calm and happier. It has helped him in many ways. We currently have O.T. 5 days a wk for KC. He loves Disneys Cars and is more like a 3 year old than a 10 year old. He's a wonderful little boy and I enjoy every minute with him.

Hey Tina when is this meeting tomorrow,, just go in ther ewith yoru ehad high and ack like you know what the heck they are talkign about and make sure they know that KC is your main concern and you want to know jsut what this program is that they want to sell you. good luck hope it turns out good.
